At this event you'll be celebrating with us the
beautification work of our building by our dedicated volunteers
; you'll learn about our
expanding programs and initiatives
; and you'll hear how Ashby Village is contributing to Berkeley becoming an "age-friendly city".
As part of the festivities, photographer
Nancy Rubin
and writer
Cynthia Overbeck Bix
, will unveil "
Reframing Aging", an inaugural photo exhibition
in which they challenge prevailing stereotypes with a refreshing look at the new faces of aging.
