YELP Review:
I'm giving this place 5 stars because of what it is, and that the food is good. What is it?
Its a pub that caters to all respectable clientele in a tiny little neighborhood just blocks from my house. As
such, it is truly a gem, and the type of place that presents the "old country" so to speak. Parking is easy. Just a few visits to the bar area, and the staff already knows me and is very friendly and welcoming. As
burger connessieur, I can truly say that the rendition they have here never disappoints, despite missing the
"obligatory" bacon. It is at least a half pound, the cook knows how to get it medium-rare every time, and the fixings on the side are solid and well complimented. You can even get Shu-Mai on the side instead of fries,
but for you Dim Sum people out there, this would be the frozen variety you would find at the Chinese market,
and deep fried.
Other food I have had was excellent too, including the Shepherd's Pie, and the luscious Fish and Chips. One day when I am feeling adventurous, I'll try some of the very unexpectable things on the
menu, such as the Curry Chicken and other fare. Thank goodness for the Circus Pub!
