One Fair Wage
A Conversation with Saru Jayaraman
A timely conversation on wages and dignity.
Join us for a conversation with Saru Jayaraman, a nationally recognized advocate for restaurant workers and a leading voice on fair wages and labor rights in the food service industry.
Saru is the President and Co-Founder of One Fair Wage, a national organization working to end subminimum wages and improve working conditions for restaurant and service workers. She is also President and co-founder of Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, working to improve wages and working conditions for the 13 million people who work in America’s restaurant industry.
In her latest book One Fair Wage: Ending Subminimum Pay in America, Saru examines how tipped and other subminimum-wage workers are affected by the current wage system. Come hear about this compelling movement to build greater economic security for millions of workers.
