Film: TRUMP - AN AMERICAN DREAM
Available on Netflix and lasts just under 2 hours.
On Thursday, September 10, in the Clipper Club from 4:30 to 5:30, we will discuss the first two episodes of “TRUMP - AN AMERICAN DREAM” which is available on Netflix and consists of four separate episodes. This documentary/plus was recommended by Dawn.
Normally, a brief description of our documentary would appear here, but because this documentary consists of four separate episodes, we’re doing things differently this month. The plan is to watch the first two episodes, which last just under two hours. During our September meeting, we’ll discuss these two episodes and also decide if we want to discuss the last two episodes in October.
Here are detailed directions on how to get to the episodes:
1. First, sign into Netflix as you have in the past.
2. Ignore what, if anything, is playing on the screen and just click on the magnifying glass image near the upper-right corner of your screen. This opens a search bar. Type “Trump” into the search bar.
3. A page with about two dozen documentaries will now appear on your screen. One of those documentaries will be “TRUMP - AN AMERICAN DREAM”
4. Put your cursor on this Trump documentary. Find the down arrow inside a circle on the right. Click on that down arrow.
5. This brings you to a larger image of the Trump documentary. Now without clicking on the documentary image, just use your mouse to scroll down and you’ll a see a listing of four episodes.
6. Click on Episode 1 titled “Manhattan” and this episode will start to play.
7. At the end of watching Episode 1, you’ll see a box in the lower-right corner of your screen that says “Next Episode.” If you click on “Next Episode,” Episode 2 titled “The Gambler” will start to play.
8. If you prefer to watch Episode 2 later, you can just go through the same process outlined in steps 1 through 7 above. When you get to step 7, select Episode 2 or whichever episode you want to watch, and it will start playing.
