For two decades, Korsa Musical Theater has been the Bay Area’s premier musical theater training company, molding young artists through the process of producing excellent musical theater. We bring together the Bay Area’s most talented and dedicated young performers, musicians, and students of technical theater, with professional directors, designers, choreographers, and musicians. We create theater that takes on challenging and sophisticated musical and dramatic themes, and our productions are always accompanied by a full, live orchestra. Our students go on to study at the top musical theater programs around the world, star in Broadway shows and national tours, and even win Tony Awards.
For the Ashby Village presentation, we'll be giving your audience a glimpse into who we are. We'll show you a short version of a mini documentary film made about our company, and then 5-6 students from the cast of A Chorus Line (which is currently in production and opens the last weekend in July) will sing a selection of songs from the show. Our Founding Artistic Director and Resident Music Director and Conductor will be there to speak a little about what we do, and there will be time at the end for Q and A with the audience, the directors and the students.
