Berkeley Community Chamber Singers Present: How Can I Keep from Singing?
The Berkeley Community Chamber Singers, BCCS, are the a capella arm of the Berkeley Community Chorus & Orchestra, BCCO. The 25 singers perform in senior centers, nursing homes, shelters, street fairs, and community events. They sing a varied repertoire that ranges from madrigals and international music to American folk and contemporary pop songs. They sing for folks who might not be able to attend their parent chorus’ concerts.
BCCO celebrates its 60th anniversary June 12-14, 2026, featuring a commissioned work, the Terezin Requiem, by Michael Schachter. The free performances are at First Presbyterian Church, 2407 Dana St., Berkeley.
