The classes will blend the mediums of movement, drawing and creative writing. Through gentle dance and expressive movement we will look at the stories of the body and translate them into drawing and poetry.
The classes will be about discovering stories and having a space to share them with others in a creative way.

We will find new ways of identifying ourselves, looking at how we are physically, mentally and emotionally. We will also discover communication models when sharing what we are witnessing.

The series is based on Anna Halprins school Tamalpa’s work where the life art process is taught.

Jennifer
About the Instructor: Jennifer MacGregor Dennis

Jennifer works as an artist, yoga teacher and bodyworker, finding deep overlaps in her work with the body and artistic expression. After spending much of this year with her Grandparents she wanted to share this work with elders in the community and create a space for their stories to be told and uncovered. Jennifer's Great Aunt, who is part of the community, guided her to Ashby Village.
