Description
EASY Nature Walk along Tidal Arrowhead Marsh, great for wintering and migrating water birds at this time of year.  Can be extended for longer, faster walk. Starting at the Observation Tower, this paved, flat path winds along the shoreline of Arrowhead Marsh on San Leandro Bay, a favorite stopover or wintering spot for migrating shorebirds and ducks November - March.  On this day the tide will be at its optimum height for watching birds if you wish to. Walkers can go at their own pace, fast and far for speedy walkers, and slower and not as far for the rest of us. For more detailed information, go to http://www.ebparks.org/parks/martinlking
