Sponsored by Ashby Village’s Arts and Culture Group, three long-time friends and Village members will present their work and then be interviewed by Naomi Newman (founder Traveling Jewish Theater) about their friendship and their work, and how these have changed as they’ve aged.

Maxine Hong Kingston is the celebrated author of several award-winning books including Woman Warrior and China Men.

Earll Kingston has appeared in productions of the Berkeley Rep and The Magic Theatre, as well as such well-known television dramas as Hawaii 50 and Magnum PI.

Judith Foosaner is an abstract artist who has had solo exhibitions throughout California and whose work is in many prestigious collections including the University of California Berkeley Museum of Art and the Oakland Museum. She taught for many years at the California College of Arts and Crafts.
